When a Tonometry test is done it is to test the inner pressure of the eye. In Ophthalmoscopy the doctor uses and magnifying glass which has a light at the other end. The doctor then looks into the person eyes and checks the retina, the optic nerve, blood vessels and back of the eye.

One thing a person should know is that Glaucoma is not curable however if detected at an early stage the spreading of the disease to the rest of the eye can be stopped.
